Schools have reopened from today in various states and union territories including Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Meghalaya. Due to the Kovid epidemic and lockdown, only online studies were being done for a long time.
Today schools from 9th to 12th standard have been opened. Classes for classes VI to VIII are likely to start from September 8.
The Delhi government has said that no student will be forced to attend school and parental consent is mandatory. Students, teachers and employees living in the Containment Zone will not be allowed to come to the school. Heads of schools and institutions have been asked to regularly sanitize classrooms, common areas and entrances.
Schools of classes 1 to 5 are opening in Uttar Pradesh from today in compliance with the COVID guidelines. In this regard, the guidelines have been issued to all the District Basic Education Officers of the state.
In Madhya Pradesh, all government and private schools from class 6 to 12 are opening with 50% capacity from today.
Schools and colleges in Tamil Nadu reopened from today. The government has given instructions to follow the Kovid rules. Vaccination camps are also being organized in colleges to vaccinate the students at the earliest.
