In view of the communal violence in Haryana’s Nuh, an alert has also been issued in Rajasthan. Officials said on Wednesday that mobile internet service in four areas of Bharatpur bordering Haryana has been suspended till Thursday morning. Along with this, Section 144 has been implemented in 10 areas of Alwar district and four areas of Bharatpur district.
Bharatpur District Collector Lok Bandhu said that mobile internet services in Sikri, Pahadi, Kaman, Nagar areas of the district have been suspended till 6 am on Thursday. On the other hand, prohibitory orders have been imposed in Kaman and Pahadi, banning any kind of procession or rally in these areas.
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Wednesday sought four more companies of central forces in the wake of communal violence in the state and said that an IRB battalion would also be deployed in Nuh. In a press conference, the Chief Minister said that 20 companies of central forces are already deployed in Haryana, out of which 14 are stationed in Nuh, three in Palwal, two in Gurugram and one in Faridabad. He said those responsible for the violence would not be spared.
