A while back, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla read out the notice of no-confidence motion in the House. He said that he would like to inform the House that no-confidence motion has been received from Gaurav Gogoi. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla then read out the resolution.
It may be known that on the issue of violence in Manipur, the Congress has given a notice of no-confidence motion against the Central Government on Wednesday morning. Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi filed the notice of no-confidence motion against the Modi government. The BRS party also gave notice of a separate no-confidence motion against the government. On behalf of BRS, party MP Nama Nageswara Rao gave notice of no-confidence motion.
The opposition party Congress alleges that PM Modi does not listen. In such a situation, the opposition decided to bring a motion of no confidence.
