Under Operation Ajay, the first flight carrying 212 Indian citizens from Israel landed at Delhi Airport. Union Minister Rajiv Chandrashekhar welcomed the citizens at Delhi Airport. During this time he also talked to some passengers. Union Minister Rajiv Chandrashekhar said, our government will never leave any Indian behind. The Prime Minister is committed to the safety of Indian citizens, to bring them back home safely.
An Indian citizen who was evacuated to India from Israel said, after the war started in Israel, we started getting calls from our family and friends from India, everyone was worried about us. I thank the Government of India and the Ministry of External Affairs of India for bringing this operation safely from Israel to India for us.
The woman, who came to India from Israel, said, “I was working as an airport manager in Tel Aviv on behalf of Air India, I was there for the last 10 months, we were thrown out from there. The situation there has remained tense for the last 4-5 days. We faced that situation and now we are here.
