Security forces have busted a terrorist hideout during a forest area in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, resulting in recovery of a cache of arms and ammunition, a senior policeman said on Wednesday.
The hideout was unearthed during an overnight joint operation by police and Rashtriya Rifles within the forest area of Kalaban in Mendhar sector, Senior Superintendent of Police, Poonch, Ramesh Angral said.
He said the search of the hideout led to the recovery of an AK 56 rifle, three magazines, 793 rounds, a binocular, a radio, a Pakistan-make pistol with a magazine and a solar charger.
