China today said that at present the situation along the border with India is generally stable. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said this in response to a question related to the latest situation on the border.
As a result of military and diplomatic talks, the two sides completed the process of withdrawing forces from the north and south shores of Pangong Lake in Gogra in August and in February.
The 12th round of military talks between India and China took place on 31 July, after which the process of withdrawal from Gogra started. China and India effectively carried out diplomatic and military talks and controlled conflicts in various border areas.
Earlier, India has announced the name of its new Ambassador to China Pradeep Kumar Rawat.
