As the Bharatiya Janata Dal President JP Nadda is on his poll campaign in West Bengal these days, he shared his observations on the Mamta-led Trinamul Congress causing harm to the culture of the State. He said “they are destroying the Bengali culture”. Trinamool Congress never reflected the culture of Bengali rather than symbolised “anarchy and corruption”
On questioning about the BCCI president Sourav Ganguly joining the Bhartiya Janata Party, the leader said that they are yet to confirm it.
This is JP Nadda’s second visit to Bengal where he felt the law and order situation has deteriorated during TMC tenure.
“Last time when I came, the manner in which I was welcomed enroute Diamond Harbour, we were attacked under a plan by the administration and political party, the nation witnessed it. Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) took a strong note of this. Today when I am here again, I say so far so good,”
The TMC ruling is operating with a criminal instinct. Corruption has been institutionalised. The government is politicised and the politics are criminalised in West Bengal. The point-blank attack on a protectee like me is a testament to the state of law and order under which a normal person is subject,” he said.
