TV anchor Rohit Sardana’s untimely demise has left a huge void in the media world: PM Modi

On Friday, television journalist and senior anchor Rohit Sardana died of Covid. Rohit Sardana worked for Aaj Tak and hosted the popular show ‘Dangal,’ which featured debates on current events.

He previously worked for Zee News, where he hosted the debate show ‘Taal Thok Ke.’
In 2018, the government bestowed upon him the Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Puraskar.

“Rohit Sardana was the sharpest young anchor I have met. Superb command over Hindi, brilliant with his turn of the phrase, precise questions, clear in his thinking, loved by the masses, warm and humble off the screen, he was destined for great things. Our newsroom is in deep shock,” he wrote.
