The parents of Major Ashish, who was martyred in the terrorist attack in Kashmir, are in bad condition, crying in tears. The entire country including Panipat is proud of Major’s martyrdom. Major Ashish’s uncle said that we are proud of our son’s martyrdom but in this hour of grief, tears are not stopping in our eyes.
Brother-in-law Suresh told that October 23 was Ashish’s birthday and he had to reach the new house in TDI City on Saturday on the auspicious time. Suresh told that Major’s brother is also serving in the Army and is posted in Pune. The mortal remains of Major Shaheed Major Ashish will be brought by 3 to 4 o’clock and his last rites will be performed in his village Binjhaul but before that it will be taken to his newly constructed house in TDI.
Jagdev Singh, father-in-law of Colonel Manpreet Singh, who was martyred in the Anantnag encounter, said, we came to know about this yesterday evening. Recently he had also received the Sena Medal. It is being told that his body will reach Mohali by 4-5 pm.
