A case of insulting the national flag tricolor has come to light from two districts of Bihar. During the procession of Eid Miladunnabi, the tricolor with the symbol of two swords was hoisted in Siwan on Sunday after the Ashok Chakra was removed from the tricolor flag. At the same time, a procession was taken out in Sheohar with a flag shaped like a moon instead of Ashok Chakra.
The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) called the incident sedition and an insult to the tricolor and demanded action against the culprits at the earliest.
In the procession, the Ashoka Chakra was removed from the middle of the tricolor and a flag shaped like a moon was made. This flag was seen waving all over the way with the procession. SP Ananth Kumar Rai said that action will be taken against the culprits.
