The Union Cabinet has increased the remunerative price of sugarcane to two hundred and ninety rupees per quintal, which is the most reasonable and highest price ever.
Talking to the media, Goyal said that the benefit of this decision will also be given to five lakh workers of sugar mills and people involved in their activities.
Shri Piyush Goyal said that the Union Government has taken several important steps for providing remunerative price of sugarcane to the farmers and for early payment of sugarcane.
