Thakur held a meeting with BJP office-bearers during his one-day visit to Lucknow. He discussed various issues related to the upcoming assembly elections with the party leaders in the office. He has been made co-in-charge of the Bharatiya Janata Party for the upcoming assembly elections in the state.
