Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate Lata Mangeshkar Chowk in Ayodhya today on the 93rd birth anniversary of late singer Lata Mangeshkar. Lata Mangeshkar’s family members are also expected to attend the event.
Cultural programs will also be organized on the occasion at Ram Katha Park. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has renamed the famous Nyaya Ghat intersection in Ayodhya as Lata Mangeshkar Square. The Veena, a musical instrument forty feet long and weighing 14 tons, has been installed at this intersection.
On the occasion of the inauguration, along with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Union Tourism Minister himself will be present in Ramnagari. On this occasion, many programs will also be organized in Ram Nagari, in which hymns sung by Lata Mangeshkar will be sung by Padma Shri awardee singer Dr. Soumya Ghosh. Along with this, an exhibition will be organized in Lata Mangeshkar memory. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate the exhibition based on the life of Lata Mangeshkar.
