Yogi Adityanath’s is preparing to establish a Lord Ram University in Ayodhya. The planned university would carry out studies and experiments on the history, scriptures, values and theological details of Lord Ram.
According to Deputy Chief Minister Dr Dinesh Sharma, the university will let people around the world know about Lord Ram’s life and values. It will also include analyses on Hindu philosophy and history.
The new university is likely to be established by the private sector in cooperation with the state government. Many religious figures accepted the idea. Mahant Paramhans supported the decision and said that he had written letters to the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister in this regard.
In addition, Minister of Higher Education Dr Dinesh Sharma also said, “Apart from this, a sports university, Ayush University and law university will also be founded in the districts of Aligarh, Saharanpur and Azamgarh. A detailed action plan has been launched and a 16-member task force has been set up by the government to create UP as a center for higher learning.
He also said that separate steering committees have been set up in higher education, elementary education, physical education and technical education departments.
These steering committees will guide the implementation of the current National Education Policy-2020,” said Dr Sharma.
