Class 10 and 12 final exams for schools affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will take place from May 4 to June 10 and the results will be declared on July 15, announced by Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Thursday.
Class 10 and 12 board examinations will take place from May 4 to June 10. Schools will be required to take realistic exams on 1 March. The date sheet for both classes will soon be published. The findings will be declared by 15 July,” Mr Pokhriyal announced.
The three-month delay due to the coronavirus pandemic created uncertainty about the effects on college enrollment, particularly for those wishing to study abroad.
Practical experiments are typically carried out in January and theoretical tests begin in February and finish in March.
Last week, Mr Nishank ruled out the conduct of the Board’s exams until February in the light of the COVID-19 case.
With no clarification on the board’s exam dates, some schools had already administered pre-board tests online to keep students informed.
