Cricketer Suresh Raina, singer Guru Randhawa arrested at a nightclub in Mumbai

The nightclub in Mumbai was raided early this morning for allegedly breaching the Covid law, after which a case was brought against 34 individuals, including celebrities and club workers.

Cases have been brought against 27 individuals, including cricketer Suresh Raina, singer Guru Randhawa and seven staff members. A note was issued to Bollywood star and interior designer Sussanne Khan.

The case was reported for allegedly keeping the Dragonfly nightclub near the airport in the Sahar region open past the time limit permitted and for failing to comply with the rules of the pandemic, such as wearing masks and maintaining social distance.

The new time limit for pubs and nightclubs in Mumbai to remain open, imposed by the municipal body, is 11:30 p.m. The nightclub in question ran until 4 a.m., the police said.

The special squad of the Mumbai Police raided at 3 a.m.
