Bollywood Actor Sonu Sood has indulged in selfless deed. He has helped the migrant workers by providing them with food and transportation. He is ardently working to send migrant workers back home during the novel coronavirus lockdown. Many have lauded the actor for his efforts, the latest being Chief Minister of Punjab, Captain Amarinder Singh.
Praising Sonu, the Chief Minister wrote, “It fills me with immense pride whenever I read about my fellow Punjabis going beyond their call of duty to help those in need & this time it is our Moga boy @SonuSood who has been actively helping migrant workers by arranging for their food & transportation. Good work Sonu! (sic).”

Apart from sending migrants to their home states, Sonu had also donated over 1,500 PPE kits to doctors across Punjab.
Governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshyari also called Sonu and congratulated him for taking up the initiative of sending migrant labourers home.
The Dabangg actor has become the most talked-about celebrity of the film industry for his selfless work. He had also offered his hotel as accommodation of the healthcare workers in Mumbai.
In India, the total number of positive coronavirus cases have reached 1,58,333. The death toll has mounted to 4,531.
