Aam Aadmi Party’s Ranjit Uppal joins BJP.

Amid preparations for the Haryana Assembly elections, Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) Panchkula district president, Ranjit Uppal, joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday. He was inducted into the BJP by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini. Rajya Sabha MP Kartikeya Sharma was also present on the occasion. Ranjit Uppal’s inclusion in the BJP is expected to strengthen the party ahead of the Haryana Assembly elections. This development is considered a significant setback for the Aam Aadmi Party.

In fact, as preparations for the Haryana Assembly elections continue, there have been speculations about an alliance between the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party. However, no official announcement has been made by either party so far. It has been suggested that an official announcement could be made on Monday regarding the alliance.

A source from the Aam Aadmi Party stated, “Talks are ongoing between Deepak Bawaria and AAP leader Raghav Chadha. AAP has expressed its desire to contest five seats.” It is reported that AAP initially demanded 10 seats, but the Congress has been firm on offering only five. Raghav Chadha was expected to provide more information in recent days, but he declined to share any updates on the matter.
