41 brave laborers trapped in Silkyara Tunnel of Uttarkashi since November 12 have been rescued safely. Uttarakhand government will provide financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh each to the laborers trapped in the tunnel. Besides, the government will also build a temple of Baba Boukhnag. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced this.
Speaking to the media in Silkyara after the successful operation to safely rescue all 41 workers trapped in the tunnel, the Chief Minister said that instructions have been given to the officials in this regard. He said that apart from this, complete arrangements will be made for the workers to be treated in the hospital till they go to their homes.
Dhami said that after being taken out of the tunnel, all the workers have been admitted to the hospital. He said that the government will also bear the expenses incurred on hospital treatment. He said that apart from the workers, the government is also making arrangements for food and accommodation for their families.
The Chief Minister also credited the grace of local deity Baba Boukhnag for the success of the rescue operation and said that his grand temple would be built in Silkyara. He said that with the blessings of Baba Boukhnag, all the workers have come out safely.
