BCCI President Sourav Ganguly has confirmed that the Asia Cup cricket will be held in the United Arab Emirates. Earlier it was to be in Sri Lanka. After the Board’s Apex Council meeting in Mumbai, Ganguly said that the UAE is the only place where it will not rain during this period.
On Wednesday, the Sri Lanka Cricket Board informed the Asia Cricket Council that it was not in a position to host the tournament. The Asia Cup cricket will be held from 27 August to 11 September in the T-Twenty format.
