ICC New Zealand defeated England by five wickets in the semi-final match of T20 Cricket World Cup in Abu Dhabi yesterday to enter the final. Batting first, England scored 166 for four thanks to Moeen Ali’s 51 not out and David Malan’s 41.
In reply, New Zealand’s team achieved this target in just 19 overs thanks to Daryl Mechil’s unbeaten 72 and Devon Conway’s 46 runs.
Now New Zealand will face the winner of the second final in Dubai on Sunday.
The second semi-final between Pakistan and Australia will be played in Dubai today at 7.30 pm.
