Indian captain Rohit Sharma, furious over the constant discussion about Virat Kohli’s poor form, has once again defended him, saying that he is beyond his comprehension why this discussion is happening. In a press conference after India’s hundred-run defeat, Rohit interrupted a journalist who was going to inquire about Kohli’s poor form.
Rohit said, “Why are you talking about this man. I do not understand the meaning, brother.
“He has played so many matches for so long. He is such a great batsman and doesn’t need any assurances.
Rohit, however, said that Kohli’s place in the team is secure and he does not need any assurances. Kohli is not in the squad for the upcoming T20I series against West Indies. It has been told that he has sought rest.
