The popular Chinese smartphone manufacturer is launching its much anticipated new budget smartphone the Realme C12 on August 18th. The smartphone is packed with heavy, performance-oriented specifications and is an upgrade to the C11 that was launched in India last month.
The most impressive feature of the C12 is its 6000 mAh battery that according to Realme can power the phone for 57 days on standby or 60 hours of music playback or 46 hours of talk time. The impressive battery life is sure to turn some heads as even at 5 percent the company claims, the Super Power Saving Mode can provide more than 2 hours of talk time. One thing is certain, battery life will be one less thing to worry about if you are using the Realme C12.
The C12 has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with an HD+ display with a resolution of 1920x1080p. It sports a 13MP AI-powered triple-lens rear camera setup with a LED flash. The selfie camera is posed to be 5MP. It will be powered by an Helio G35 SoC octa-core processor, working in tandem with 3GB RAM to provide seamless and lag-free gaming and user experience. It will have 32GB of internal memory to meet the storage needs for all your photos, music, apps, and more. The C12 also has a fingerprint scanner on the back and runs on Android 10.0 and will have a default 10W charger. It will be available in Marine Blue and Coral Red colours.
The company has not yet revealed the price of the new C12 in India, however, given that it is an upgraded model of the C11 that was launched last month at Rs. 7,499, we can expect the price to be slightly higher. Meanwhile, Realme has also launched the C12 in Indonesia with a price tag of IDR 1,899,000 which is approximately Rs. 9,650.
While the launch of Realme C12 is still a few days away, it will be interesting to see whether the Shenzen based manufacturer is able to garner a positive response overcoming the prevailing anti-china sentiments across consumers in India.
