China expressed its strongest resentment as Indian government went ahead to make Ladakh a Union Territory. External Affairs spokesperson RaveeshRaveesh Kumar said, “India does not comment on the internal affairs of other country and similarly expects other countries to do likewise.”
With the Indian government making a landmark change by scrapping the Article 370, and making Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh a Union Territory , the Chinese government came out vociferously expressing its claim over Ladakh.
“China always opposes India’s inclusion of Chinese territory in the western section of the China-India boundary under its administrative jurisdiction.”
