The video of a police officer saving a puppy after it mistakenly dropped into a lake is running through social media. The 15-second clip was posted on Twitter by The Feel Positive Page and has gone viral with almost one lakh view so far.
WHAT DOES THE VIRAL VIDEO SHOW?
The dog fell into Lake Michigan and struggled for its life as seen in the viral video. Officer Juan Farris noticed the dog and immediately rushed to the spot. He pulled the dog up from the lake and thus, saved it from drowning.
“Saving the dog,” is the caption of the post.

Speaking to the Chicago Tribune about the incident, Juan Farris said, “The dog kept trying to get water out of the lake and fell into the lake. I heard the splash. Once I heard, I turned over, I saw him swimming, just went over there and grabbed him.”
