On Saturday, after the expiry of his police custody, Khan was produced before a magistrate’s court in Vasai. On Friday, the police custody of the actor was extended by one more day. The magistrate sent Khan to judicial custody for 14 days.
Khan (27) was arrested by Waliv police in Palghar district on December 26 for allegedly abetting the actress to commit suicide. The 21-year-old Sharma, who is acting in the TV serial ‘Ali Baba: Dastaan-e-Kabul’, was found hanging in the washroom on the sets of the show near Vasai on December 25.
